Welcome to the Better German podcast. My name is Susi Blümel, and I will teach you German and everything around the language , the countries and the culture. So this is Better German Podcast, Episode 23, and, we are continuing on last week's subject where I gave you an introduction on how the plural in German is formed. If you haven't heard this, I highly suggest it, and there are a few relevant episodes about this. So the first thing you should do in any case, you go to my homepage, to bettergerman.info/23 and there you will find a PDF with all the words that we're going to cover and the plural, this is what the episode is about, and the translation. This is also available as a video. I am going to put it on my YouTube channel, but this is also part of the beginner's course, which is open for sale by the way. There's a German Beginner's Course, an absolute beginners course. It starts in March but you can already get access to it for a very special presale price. So it's coming up soon and there you can also see the video. If you see the video, you now have it on screen, I'm just going to tell you a few of the relevant episodes if you're interested in it. So if you have been following my podcast then you're good to go. But if you are new to this podcast and maybe new to German, and you don't know what we're talking about, then there's a couple of episodes that I can suggest, or that I highly suggest you to listen first. First of all, there is an episode which is Episode 5 and it's called Introduction to Articles, and you find that it bettergerman.info/5. that mainly is around the podcast. Okay, cool. So another, episode that I that is relevant to this one is the Word List of Body Parts, which we are using in this episode, and this is Episode number 6. And the Word List of the Classroom or Office, this is Episode 11. And then of course, last week's episode which is the Introduction to the German Plural. Okay, good. So what we are going to do in this episode, in the last episode, I gave you a few examples on how the plural could be formed, and I told you a little bit about it. And in this episode, we're basically just going to practice it. So I highly suggest you to either to go and download the additional material, and it could be also easier if you have the possibility or would like to, or just like to do that anyway, to watch it on a video. So either on YouTube, or you can watch it as part of my course. There are videos available there for free, so you can definitely watch it there too. Okay, so what's going to happen is I'm going to basically just say it and then— say the plural and the ideas, you repeat it. So you get to practice. And yeah, so let's jump into this. But you can definitely want a listen to it on iTunes and on Spotify and on Amazon, and so on. You will always find the show notes, it's a good stable datum though, if you go to my homepage at bettergerman.info and then /, and then you put the number of the episode.
